Eligibility

Who is Eligible?

The foundation requires that a referred child be under the age of 18, reside within New York State's Mohawk Valley and can provide proof of the brevity of illness through doctor, clinic, hospital or other medical related professional testimonial.

Who Can Refer a Child?

A child can be referred for consideration by a family member, a medical institution, a clinic or related entity, a friend of the individual or family, as well as, by himself or herself.

The Grant Process

The Robert Esche Save of the Day Foundation Board will review all referrals within 10 weeks of their receipt and every effort will be extended to provide written response of their decision. It may be necessary for the Board to contact the individual who made the referral for more information prior to final determination.

Due to the amount of referrals anticipated in a given year, the Robert Esche Save of the Day Foundation makes no actual or implied guarantees that all of the referrals will receive a positive outcome.

The size and manner of the grant will be at the sole discretion of the Robert Esche Save of the Day Foundation Board.

The Robert Esche Save of the Day Foundation respects the privacy and sensitivity of all of the children and families that submit referrals for consideration. All information regarding the individual detailed in the letter along with the medical testimonial will be treated as confidential.
