The Rob Esche “Save of the Day” Foundation is committed to helping the community throughout the Mohawk Valley. Each year, the foundation donates Utica Comets or Utica City FC memorabilia to support local non-profits with their fundraising efforts, spending several thousand dollars on merchandise from the Team Store to donate to more than 200 organizations annually.
Due to the large volume of requests we receive and to reach as many organizations as we can, we require that all requests meet the following guidelines:
-
Your request for a donation must be submitted via the online form at least 30 days before your event date.
-
We prefer requests 60 days in advance, and would like them as early as possible!
-
-
Do not mail or drop off letters or flyers about your event to the Auditorium. You must use the online request form.
-
Submitting a request via any other outlet will not increase your chances of receiving a donation.
-
Please note that due to the volume of requests we receive, the Foundation cannot provide an auction item from both the Utica Comets and the Utica City FC. Please indicate when completing the form which organization you prefer to handle your request.
-
To be considered, the online donation form must be filled out completely.
-
Your organization must be located in the Mohawk Valley.
-
Organizations can only receive one donation from the Foundation per calendar year.
-
We are unable to support individual or company fundraising efforts on behalf of a charity. The Foundation directly supports local chapters of many national organizations. The Foundation also does not donate to ‘teams’ of any charity, local or national (examples: Relay for Life, Walk for Autism, United Way Campaign, etc.). We also do not support GoFundMe fundraisers.
-
If your request is accepted, the donation must be used for fundraising purposes.
Due to limited resources, it is possible that we will be unable to donate to an event even if you have met all of the requirements and have not received a donation within the last year.
We wish you the best of luck with your fundraising efforts!
