Fan Appreciation Weekend with the Utica Comets

The Utica Comets will cap off another fantastic regular season with Fan Appreciation Weekend at the Utica Memorial Auditorium this weekend as a “thank you” to their fans for all the support they have given the team this season.

In addition to the monetary prize, every fan that purchases a ticket for the 50/50 raffle on Friday will be entered to win Travis Ehrhardt’s home game-worn jersey from the 2014-15 season, and a blue team-signed helmet. Ehrhardt’s white sweater is complete with the 2015 Calder Cup Finals patch stitched on the right hand side.

On Sunday, the Comets and the Save of the Day Foundation will bring back the super-popular mystery boxes. 1,000 mystery boxes will be sold for $20 each next to the Fan Zone table behind Section 204. Each mystery box will contain prizes that include, but are not limited to, Alex Biega’s autographed inaugural season jersey and photos, Alex Friesen’s autographed inaugural season jersey, Comets merchandise, John Negrin’s Calder Cup Finals jersey, and a team-signed 2015 AHL All-Star Classic Western Conference jersey.

Prior to the start of Sunday’s game, the Comets will present the 2015-16 team awards which include the Eric Weinrich Award (best defenseman) and the Tom McVie Award (coach’s most valuable player).

Both games will feature increased prize giveaways throughout the contests.
