Official Rules & Conditions

 

The Save of the Day Foundation (SOTD) is offering a raffle drawing for the chance to win either $75,000 or a 2026 CHEVROLET CORVETTE. This raffle is conducted by Rob Esche’s Save of the Day Foundation, a registered New York State non-profit corporation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All proceeds support the mission of the SOTD Foundation. 

 

• Ticket Price: $100 each - Only 2,000 Tickets Sold!

• Eligibility: Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. All payments must be made in legal U.S. currency. Tickets sold are non-transferable.

• Taxes: The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, including income tax.

Entry Deadline & Drawing Date

Completed ticket stubs must be received by the SOTD Foundation no later than 12:00 PM on January 31, 2026 to be entered. The raffle drawing will take place that same day, January 31, 2026, during the Utica Comets hockey game at the Adirondack Bank Center. Entrants do not need to be present to win.

 

Winner Notification & Claiming Prize

The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries. Notification will be sent via certified mail to the address or phone number provided on the ticket stub within 10 business days of the drawing. The winner must present the winning ticket along with valid identification at the Adirondack Bank Center to claim the prize. They have until 5:00 PM on the 10th business day, after the winner is notified. 

  

Disclaimer

If CASH option is selected, SOTD will withhold 24% of winnings and remit with a Form W-2G to the IRS on behalf of the winner. The winner will receive the net cash after withholding.

If VEHICLE is selected, the winner will be responsible for paying all applicable taxes---including 24% of the vehicle’s fair market value for federal income tax---before vehicle is released.

 

Ticket Limits & Processing

A maximum of 2000 tickets will be sold. Entries will be processed in order they are received until the cap is reached.

 

Publicity agreement

By entering the raffle, participants consent to have their name and ticket number published in connection with the drawing.
